Curriculum for Upper School Yr3-6

Key Stage 2

The Upper School (7 - 11+) Years 3 to 6

Pastoral Care continues to be the responsibility of the form teacher but further specialist teaching is introduced. This is an excellent preparation for secondary school and means that specialist expertise is available throughout this important Key Stage. We greatly value the individual and believe parents desire the attention smaller classes can afford.

The curriculum includes English (including Library skills), Drama, P.E, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Religious Studies, French, Art, Design & Technology, ICT, Introduction to Latin, Personal Social and Health Education with Citizenship and Music. In Year 3 we also include recorders and chess within the curriculum.

We offer a broad, balanced curriculum with a supportive extra-curricular programme. This gives individuals the chance to develop talents and receive a well-rounded education for life.
